Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs the use of the Nevuto platform and services ("Services") by all merchants and users. It supplements and is incorporated into our Terms of Service. By using the Services you agree to comply with this AUP. Capitalized terms not defined here have the meanings given in the Terms of Service.

Nevuto reserves the right to investigate and take appropriate action — including suspending or terminating accounts — against anyone who violates this AUP.

1. Prohibited Activities

You may not use the Services to engage in, facilitate, or promote any of the following:

1.1 Illegal Activities

  • Any activity that violates applicable local, national, or international law or regulation.
  • Unauthorized access to or use of data, systems, networks, or accounts ("hacking").
  • Identity theft, fraud, phishing, or other deceptive practices.
  • Money laundering, terrorist financing, or any activity that violates applicable anti-money laundering or sanctions laws.
  • Operating a business without required licenses, permits, or registrations.

1.2 Harmful Technical Activities

  • Uploading, transmitting, or distributing malware, viruses, ransomware, spyware, or any other malicious code.
  • Conducting or facilitating denial-of-service (DoS) or distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) attacks against any party.
  • Exploiting vulnerabilities in Nevuto's platform or any third-party system.
  • Scanning or probing networks or systems without authorization.
  • Using automated tools (bots, scrapers, crawlers) to access the Services in a manner that places excessive load on our infrastructure or circumvents access controls.
  • Reverse-engineering, decompiling, or disassembling any part of the Services.

1.3 Abusive & Disruptive Conduct

  • Harassment, threats, or intimidation of any person, including Nevuto personnel.
  • Impersonating any person or entity, or misrepresenting your affiliation with any person or entity.
  • Interfering with the use or enjoyment of the Services by other users.
  • Creating multiple accounts to circumvent account limitations, bans, or restrictions.

1.4 Spam & Unsolicited Communications

  • Sending unsolicited bulk messages (email, SMS, or otherwise) to persons who have not opted in to receive communications from you.
  • Using purchased, rented, or third-party-collected email lists without the recipients' prior explicit consent.
  • Harvesting or scraping email addresses or personal data from any source for use in unsolicited communications.
  • Violating applicable anti-spam laws including CAN-SPAM, CASL, or GDPR marketing provisions.

1.5 Intellectual Property Violations

  • Selling, distributing, or promoting counterfeit goods or goods that infringe any patent, trademark, trade secret, copyright, or other intellectual property right.
  • Uploading content you do not have the right to use, including copyrighted images, text, logos, or software.
  • Using Nevuto's trademarks, logos, or branding without prior written authorization.

2. Prohibited Products & Services

The following products, services, and categories are strictly prohibited from being listed, sold, or promoted through the Services:

2.1 Regulated & Restricted Items

  • Firearms, ammunition, silencers, explosives, or other weapons requiring a license to sell, without proof of all required authorizations.
  • Controlled substances, illegal drugs, narcotics, or drug paraphernalia of any kind.
  • Prescription medications sold without a valid prescription or without the seller holding all required pharmacy and dispensing licenses.
  • Tobacco products, e-cigarettes, or vaping products sold to or marketed at minors.
  • Alcohol sold without all required licenses and in violation of applicable shipping laws.
  • Endangered species, protected wildlife, or products derived from them.

2.2 Fraudulent & Deceptive Products

  • Products or services making false, misleading, or unsubstantiated health, safety, financial, or performance claims.
  • Fake reviews, manufactured social proof, or services designed to artificially inflate ratings or engagement.
  • Pyramid schemes, Ponzi schemes, or multi-level marketing programs that constitute unlawful investment schemes.
  • Get-rich-quick schemes or any product or service that misrepresents the likelihood of financial return.

2.3 Harmful & Offensive Content

  • Content that constitutes hate speech, incites violence, or discriminates against any person or group based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or other protected characteristics.
  • Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or any content that sexually exploits or endangers minors. Such content will be reported to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) and relevant law enforcement.
  • Adult content (pornographic or sexually explicit material) without prior written approval from Nevuto and full compliance with applicable age-verification laws.
  • Content designed to facilitate real-world violence, terrorism, or human trafficking.

2.4 High-Risk Financial Products

  • Unregistered securities offerings or investment products that require regulatory registration or licensing.
  • Unauthorized foreign exchange (forex) trading, binary options, or similar speculative investment products.
  • Gambling services, online casinos, sports betting, or lotteries that are not fully licensed in the jurisdictions where they are offered.

3. Merchant Responsibility for End-Customer Compliance

As a merchant, you are responsible for ensuring that your store, products, listings, marketing campaigns, and communications comply with this AUP. You are also responsible for the content generated using Nevuto AI and any third-party tools you integrate into your store. Nevuto's enforcement of this AUP does not relieve you of your independent legal obligations.

4. Enforcement

Nevuto reserves the right to take any of the following actions in response to a suspected or confirmed violation of this AUP:

  • Issue a warning and require corrective action within a specified timeframe.
  • Temporarily suspend access to the Services or specific features.
  • Remove or disable offending content, listings, or store pages.
  • Permanently terminate the Account without refund.
  • Report the activity to law enforcement or relevant regulatory authorities.
  • Pursue civil remedies where permitted by law.

Nevuto will use reasonable judgment in determining the appropriate enforcement action. Repeat or serious violations will result in immediate and permanent account termination.

5. Reporting Violations

If you become aware of a potential violation of this AUP on the Nevuto platform, please report it to us at support@nevuto.comwith the subject line "AUP Violation Report." Include as much detail as possible, including the URL of the offending content and a description of the concern. Nevuto will investigate all reports and take appropriate action.

For copyright infringement specifically, please use the process described in our DMCA Policy.

6. Changes to This Policy

Nevuto may update this AUP from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a prominent notice on our website at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use of the Services after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
